Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is an amazing Hollywood actor and writer whose talents have earned her critical acclaim and recognition. Sagittarius, she was born in North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She is the oldest child from Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper, and Anne an undergraduate student in psychology. She has English and Scottish roots. Her father was an professional and often moved her family. It was a struggle to make or keeping her friendships. Moore was a student at Frankfurt American High School in Germany as her parents moved there. Moore began her career on stage. In 1983, she earned a Master of Fine Arts from Boston University. in Theater. Following graduation, Moore began her off-Broadway career in New York. In 1985, she made her debut on screen for the first time in The Edge of Night. She played the roles of Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in As the World Turns that was her first major role. This show lasted until 1988 when she was awarded the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she made a debut on the screen through Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. The critically acclaimed performance of her in short-cuts (1993) earned her several nominations. Moore was offered her first role as a lead in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg's choice to cast Moore in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which is among the top grossing films of 1997, was a significant turning point for Moore's career. The actress received an SAG award nomination for Magnolia in 1999. The Hours, a 2002 film she costarred in with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep was nominated for 9 Academy Awards. Other films Moore was a part of include The Forgotten (2004) Freedomland (2006) Shelter (2010) etc. In 2014, she was in Non-Stop. Moore has been on numerous television and film shows. Moore's most recent role as a lead actress was in the film When You Finish saving the World (2022). In Hollywood, she has also become a published author for kids. The first book she published was Freckleface Strawberry in 2007 and was an N.Y.T. The book was a huge best seller, and was later transformed into a television show as well as musical. Additionally, in 2013 Moore released her novel My Mother is a Stranger. Moore has a public life as an accomplished actress and novelist. She was married in 1984 to John Robin and in 1995 the couple divorced. Bart Freundlich has given her two children. Moore later got married to him in 2003. Moore's world revolves around her colleagues, friends and family.
